Update, as of Nov. 24, 11:40 a.m.

An idea for a giveaway just popped out of my head weeks ago. I figured out, based on our expenses, we will not be able to afford to have our giveaway ready during the wedding, financially speaking. But I (bride) do not view this negatively. Instead, this actually gives me more time to do personally our giveaways for our beloved guests. Well, you are the most important people in the wedding so you deserve a souvenir, which we will make with our own hands.

My idea, of course, with consultation with Rasti, is a little Wedding Souvenir book with all our pictures on it. It is like a scrapbook except that I will have to layout and print them in a printing house. The souvenir will be delivered via courier exactly a month and a half after our wedding. Hopefully, we will finish everything on time. In case of delay, rest assured that you will have them not later than two months after the wedding.

New updates…as of Nov. 4, p.m.

Well, I have added two pages on our wedding blog, Rasti and Jofti and Rasti and Jofti’s Little House. The first is a short write-up dedicated to some factual information about the couple. While the next added page tells you about “the house,” that Rasti and I are trying so hard to work on getting.

Today, we talked to our priest, Fr. Toots about some of the important preparations for the wedding like the ceremony. Rasti and I will be designing a “unique program” for the ceremony aside from the usual things that the priest say during weddings. In case you noticed in the invitations, we have no ring and coin bearers and flower girl in the entourage. All that we will need like the cord, the rings, etc. are already placed on the altar table and the “abays” for the wedding symbols will just get them (Candle, Veil and Cord). We will be saying our betrothal pledges after the usual vows and promises. The pledges were written two years ago when we attended the Catholic Engaged Encounter. We were able to keep it because at that time I was really keen on using it for our wedding. We just need to edit them a little for conciseness and to make it more appropriate for the occasion.

More updates to follow…

Dear Friends and Guests,

Since September, we have been adding as much as we can to our wedding blogsite so that when we ask you to check it out once again, we will be able to share more about the preparations and about us.

Let me walk you through it. In the HOME page, we have added the Wedding Inspiration write-up, just below this post. In this post you will learn where we got the inspirations from, which are all sorts of things related to India. Well, Concept Weddings are not that popular here in the Philippines because Traditional Weddings are still more popular and safer to organize.

Added some more in the pages with the Wedding Preparations, etc. page. This is a write-up about the Chapel, Reception Venue, Catering, Papers and Documents, Wedding Gown and paraphernalia, Invitations, etc.

Be sure to check out the invitation because we put some additional information and updates on it, specifically about the reception.

Hope you have the time to check out our posts and browse through them eventhough you are quite busy with your work.

Keep visiting for more updates…
